Learn more about Madison House
“Every week is public service week at Madison House”: learn more about what we do and how to get involved, no matter your role at UVA.

Sponsored by Madison House, the volunteer center for students at the University of Virginia. Madison House’s volunteers and partners have demonstrated great vision and resilience in the face of this global crisis, leading the pivot to virtual volunteering, and developing innovative approaches towards meeting the critical needs of our shared communities. Our programs continue to provide critical mental health support services, remote tax prep for low-income families, safe virtual tutoring for the most at-risk students in local public schools, and virtual support to UVA nurses and medical staff. Student leadership applications are now open, and there are also spring and summer volunteer opportunities available. We are also helping facilitate safe, virtual service placements and projects for faculty members teaching community-engaged courses. You can also RSVP to the open house/information session to be held from 11:30am - 12:00pm on Wednesday March 17, 2021 using this form.
