Job Information:
   Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit a passion for whole animal butchery and great customer service
  • Assist customers with the purchase of special orders, fresh meats, and grocery items
  • Payment handling (not all positions)
  • Participate in shop set up and break down and assist in setting up and breaking down the meat case
  • Maintain stock and inventories of grocery items and meats
  • Clean equipment and work areas daily to maintain health and sanitation standards
  • Practice food safety and temperature control procedures at all times
     Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Able to stand and walk for 8+ hours
  • Ability to handle stress
  • Work safely with knives and meat slicer, and around butcher equipment and a band saw
  • Fast learner with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team to ensure timely and organized workflow
  • Punctual, organized, and detail oriented
  • Proactive and open with communication
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with coworkers
  • Shifts are scheduled Monday-Saturday between 7:00am and 7:00pm (Dependant on position)
     Compensation:
  • Pay depends on experience. Starting at $12 per hour.
