We, the undersigned, stand with United Academics of Philadelphia union members at University of the Arts and Arcadia University as they negotiate with their employers to win REAL improvements in areas such as job security, livable wages, accessible and affordable healthcare, respect in the workplace, shared governance, and more. We know that Faculty and Staff working conditions are their students' learning conditions, and that in order for Universities and University communities to thrive, Faculty and Staff must be respected and invested in. We demand that the leadership of both Arcadia University and University of the Arts move swiftly to come to Collective Bargaining Agreements with UAP that reflect their commitment to creating a University that works for EVERYONE.
