Rochester Math Club is hosting our first CoderDojo event on June 22nd, 11AM-4PM, @Harwick Cafeteria of Mayo Clinic, 205 3rd Ave SW, Rochester, MN 55905. This event will be guided by CoderDojo coaches from CoderDojo St Paul. Please register for the event before 6/16/19.

We will build the VKmaker Robot Car together. Students are required to bring their own Robot Car kit. You need to bring the robot car kit with you to the event, order it from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CXVA6IO/?pldnSite=1
Coaches will guide students to build the car step by step and teach them how to program the robot.

We highly recommend parents stay with their students during the event to support. Please bring your own lunch,
small screwdrivers, AA Batteries (6 per car), laptops for the coding section. Please install Scratch-based Arduino programming tools Windows or Mac.

If you have the following items, you are welcome to bring them to help your students for building the car: Wire Strippers, Small Needle-Nose Pliers, Soldering Equipment, Hot Glue, Electricity Multimeter, Misc Wire, Pocket Knife.
