What characteristics do you think make a good official? *

Basketball games are typically either 32 or 40 minutes of active playing time. Sometimes the speed of the game can be quite fast. Our officials need to be willing to get up and down the court to keep up with the play. Please check off that you understand and are willing to fulfill this requirement. *

School basketball season runs from November - March and is our busiest time of year. You will dictate which day(s) you are available to referee, so your availability can change week-to-week. However, we strongly encourage officials to make themselves available to referee at least once per week (or 2 games per week - approx. 3.5 hours) during school basketball season from November - March in order to continue developing as an official. Please check off that you understand and are willing to fulfill this commitment. *
