PRESENTERS: Julia Woito & Jessica Weaver (Life & Hope Wellness)
Julia Woito is the owner and Clinical Director of Life and Hope Wellness in Brockville, Ontario. She has been in private practice for five years and counts it a privilege to walk alongside clients who are in the throes of new or challenging situations. She is passionate about building a team of skilled therapists to provide quality care for mental and spiritual healing.
Jess Weaver is a pastor and missionary in our district who has completed her Masters in Counselling Psychology and serves on the team at Life and Hope. Jess is committed to specializing in couples counselling and trauma and provides support by considering the whole person.
DESCRIPTION: In our current culture of hustle and productivity, how do we name and resist distractions? How do we consciously slow down, breathe, and walk in step with the Holy Spirit? In this workshop, we will open a discussion about the realities of human limitations, while considering how to make space for the God-shaped dreams and tasks that he places in front of us.

EFFECTIVE MINISTRY TO DOUBTING CHRISTIANS
PRESENTER: Matt Bellefeuille
DESCRIPTION: In this workshop we will explore a "5-Stage Model of Deconversion," new research being done by Christian psychologist Joel Furches. Together, we will discuss his findings and formulate an informed, Biblical strategy for ministering to doubting Christians.
I've been in full-time ministry since 2012. Having experienced and worked through personal doubts about Christianity, I was delighted to transition into ministry to doubting Christians in 2021. Now I serve full-time, "journeying with doubting Christians toward confident faith."
