The role of the Junior Camp Counselor is to provide a high-quality camp experience by assisting with program delivery and working with other camp staff to support the physical, emotional and social health of all children in the program. Junior Counselors report to Camp Directors and receive ongoing feedback as well as a written performance appraisal each week. This weekly salary for this position is between $100 - $125 per week. No experience is required.
The following are prerequisites for the Junior Counselor position:

Must currently be a full-time student.
•
Standard First Aid & CPR C within 2 years (issue date must be no earlier than August 31st, 2018)
•
Police Record Check for anyone 18 years old or older.
•
HIGH FIVE: Principles of Healthy Child Development (does not expire).

1.
All junior counselors are required to commit to 7 of the 9 weeks of summer (June 29th-August 28th), as well as two mandatory staff training TBD
2.
Junior Counselors will be required to complete all online training modules (AODA & Workers Health and Safety & Online Leader) prior to June 1st (a commitment of your own time).
3.
