2022 Light Horse Information Sheet
Planning is well underway for the 2022 WNSE Light Horse Show.. Saturday is going to be jam packed with activities and we cannot have trucks on the grounds unnecessarily, so please plan on hauling out Saturday evening after the Exhibition is closed or on Sunday morning..  PLEASE ABIDE by these rules!  As in past years we will continue with both light horse and gymkana each day. This year I am encouraging people who can share a horse to do so. You will notice in the fees, the addition of the option for an additional rider. We would also like to encourage daily pull-in.  

STALLS AND ALLEYWAYS ARE TO BE KEPT TIDY. ANYONE WHO DOES NOT CLEAN THEIR STALL AT THE END OF THE WEEK WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE IN FOLLOWING YEARS.

IT IS THE OWNERS RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE HORSES ARE IN GOOD HEALTH. ANY HORSE SHOWING SIGNS OF DISTRESS OR ILLNESS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE HORSE COMMITTEE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU ARE WELCOME TO GET A VET CERTIFICATE STATING YOUR HORSE IS SAFE TO COMPETE.

THE WESTERN NS EXHIBITION IS A FUN FAMILY SHOW. FOUL OR ABUSIVE LANGUAGE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE EXHIBITION GROUNDS.  PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY FOR RIDING ANYTIME YOU ARE IN THE RING. BOOTS, LONG SLEEVED SHIRT (NO HOODIES) AND LONG PANTS ARE EXPECTED. ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18, MUST WEAR A HELMET AT ALL TIMES WHILE MOUNTED.

PROOF OF INSURANCE IS REQUIRED AND A WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED BEFORE RIDING .
