REGISTRATION: Youth Consultation  For Road Safety by the Transportation Sciences Network
The Transportation Sciences Network (TSN) by IMOB is an online platform for transport professionals and researchers. TSN is hosting a youth consultation with young people aged 15 to 29 to share their experiences with mobility and road safety on 11th December 2020 from 16:00 to 17:00 pm. This session is open to everyone in this age bracket. Road traffic crashes are the leading cause of death for children and young people aged 5 to 29 years old.

Earlier this year, masters students from Uhasselt held youth consultations to discussed these same issues. Their report was submitted ahead of the 2nd World Youth Assembly on Road Safety. Similar forums were held all over the world where young people made demands for what they believe needs to change to make roads and cities safer. The result of these consultations was used to create the Global Youth Statement on Road Safety. In these sets of consultations, we will discuss the Youth Statement and chart a way forward for road safety.
