Course Description:
This course is designed to study the concepts, theories,
and philosophy of middle level education. A primary focus will be understanding
the unique nature and development of young adolescent students. During
this course, students will examine the physical, emotional, intellectual,
social, and psychological developmental characteristics of young adolescents
while planning to meet their instructional needs.
