Information about processing your personal data

1. Controller of your personal data

The controller of your personal data is IAB Polska (Związek Pracodawców Branży Internetowej) having its registered offices at 39/77 Puławska street, 02-508 Warsaw. All questions or requests regarding the processing of these data may be addressed to: biuro@iab.org.pl 

2. The purposes and legal basis of processing your personal data

 We will process your personal data:
• in order to select speakers for the event „IAB FORUM 2023” and to contact you regarding your speaker proposal, your prospective participation in “IAB FORUM 2022” as a speaker and other “IAB FORUM 2022” related opportunities. The legal basis of processing your personal data is our legitimate interest consisting in selecting speakers for the conference organised by IAB Poland and contacting you in other organisational matters (art. 6 ust. 1 lit. f) RODO).
• defend ourselves against any claims or pursue any claims. The legal basis for data processing is our legitimate interest in being able to defend against claims or pursue claims.

3. Duration of storage of your personal dat
Your personal data will be stored until the data controller’s legitimate interests being the basis for the processing of this data are fulfilled:
 for the period of review of submissions and selection of the speakers, ending with notifying you if you’ve been selected;
 after this period - also to fulfil the interests related in particular to the expiry of any possible claims or until you submit a reasoned objection to IAB’s processing of your personal data (whichever of the two comes first).

4. Recipients of your personal data
We will share your personal data with our suppliers who provide us with services of personal data processing, especially with entities providing us with IT services and advertising services, and with entities providing us with administration services.  Such entities process the obtained data on the basis of agreements concluded with us and only in accordance with our requests.

5. Your rights in relation to the processing of personal data
You are granted the following rights in relation to the processing of personal data:
a. the right to object to the processing of your personal data,
b. the right to access your personal data,
c. the right to correct to your personal data,
d. the right to request the erasure of your personal data,
e. the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

Right to object
On account of the fact that your personal data are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest – you have the right to object to IAB’s processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation. You can submit your objection by e-mail: biuro@iab.org.pl.
Right to lodge a complaint
You also have the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority managing the protection of personal data, i.e. the Polish Data Protection Commissioner (PL: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).
