LRSEF is Looking for Diverse Speakers for a Minority Speaker Series
The Louisville Regional Science and Engineering Fair (LRSEF) is a nonprofit that hosts an annual science fair for middle and high school students. For the 2020-21 school year, LRSEF is partnering with schools serving a wide range of students to launch a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) speaker series. We are especially looking for speakers from Black/African, Hispanic/Latinx, or Indigenous backgrounds in any STEM field. Our goal is for these young students to see themselves reflected in our speakers, thus inspiring them to pursue their passions in STEM careers and make the world a better place for all.
