Tuesday, April 23, 2024, Meeting Registration -- Northern Oklahoma Math Teachers' Circle
When: Tuesday, April 23, 2024, 5:30 - 7:30 pm. Dinner will be at 5:30 with math activities beginning around 6:00.
Where: Math Sciences building (MSCS) Room 115 on the OSU campus. Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to and south of the building, just off of Monroe St. Permits are not required after 5:00 p.m. in any unmarked spots.
What: We will do math activities accessible to all ages! We will explore the activities ourselves and learn about how we can bring open-ended math to PreK-12 students. The focus is on low-floor, high-ceiling puzzles and games that encourage mathematical reasoning, pattern recognition, and mathematical communication -- and are also fun!
Who: Anyone who teaches math at any grade level is welcome!
