Use this form to place an order for the USAF 1951 test pattern (aka Vlads Test Target) on the high-resolution, high-contrast 35 mm film (see picture below of uncut film) or 120 film . The sole purpose of this film pattern is to be used to fine-tune DSLR-scanning rigs and to compare the results of DSLR-scanning by members of "Digitizing film with a digital camera" FB group
https://www.facebook.com/groups/287716734970881 .
If you scan negatives or transparencies shot with any 35 mm camera as well as Mamiya, Hasselblad, Kiev 88, Pentacon Six, Fuji 690, other MF camera - those patterns are made specifically to make your job more much more effective.
Now, a bit of advice: when ordering and deciding on the number of the frames, first of all take into account your own setup, your scanning device and film holders. Select a number of frames so that it will be convenient to move frames in either direction without too much effort and without touching the frames' edges. Some film holders are comfortable to operate with strips no less than five frames. If you are mostly scanning slides, one frame may be cut off the strip and mounted it in the standard 2x2 slide mount.
