Are you an organization, community group, or institution based in Sub-Saharan Africa? Play Africa (playafrica.org.za), the pioneering children's museum and education makerspace in Southern Africa, is thrilled to announce a special opportunity for you to partner with us!

Introducing the Southern African Design Thinking with Children Fellowship Programme, an exciting initiative aimed at empowering up to 40 professionals, community leaders, and members from diverse locations in Sub-Saharan African. 

Play Africa has successfully trained more than a hundred community leaders, equipping them with our specialized design thinking curriculum, capacitating them in playing a pivotal role to ensure that communities authentically reflect children's thinking, creativity, and desires, while effectively addressing their specific needs.

As a partner, your team and community will receive free access to our comprehensive 6-hour training and resources.

Who Should Apply?
We welcome institutions, organisations and community groups that work directly with individuals who are passionate about (/have a burning desire to) empowering children's voices and creativity. The individuals you work with may be professionals/ community leaders in education, architecture, urban planning, design thinking, children's advocacy, community development, as well as passionate parents and guardians.
