Rockdale VAPA PTA is looking for talented people to support this year's PTA programs and fundraising. Participating in your child's school builds relationships with other parents and teachers, creates a strong school community and a connected support system that will help our students grow and thrive.

We are seeking the following talents. Please mark all that apply to you. *

Invitation/Flyer Designer - someone artistic who loves designing invitations and flyers; can be familiar with specs for social media

PTA Advocate - someone who believes in the value and importance of Rockdale VAPA PTA and is not shy about asking families to join the PTA

Translator/Interpreter - someone to translate invitations/fliers or interpret webinars in Spanish or Tagalog

Event Planners - someone organized who sees the big picture, loves to plan events and the occasional fun-raiser

Events Coordinator - someone who loves to make the magic happen the day-of the event; support for our Event Planner

Connections Specialist - someone detail-oriented to support creation and distribution of invitations and informational flyers.

Social Media Specialist - someone who loves posting on Facebook/Instagram and can support posting with the voice of the PTA on these platforms

Head of Hospitality - someone who loves to host and mindful of various dietary needs

Grant Writer - someone who is a persuasive writer and believes Rockdale Rockets deserves their fair share of grant money

Community Sponsorship and Outreach - someone who can create a tiered corporate sponsorship package and approach local companies

Passionate Enrichment Educators - someone who is passionate about a particular subject and eager to share their knowledge and experience with Rockdale students

Community Engagement - someone who loves to meet people and connect them with other people and resources, a "Mayor" for the PTA

Educational Legislation Advocate - someone knowledgeable of the bills and legislation that affects our school community that can keep everyone informed of our rights and options

Volunteer Coordinator - someone who knows people and is not shy to create periodic outreach for volunteers from school community to fulfill PTA tasks, small and large
