ABOUT I HEART INDIE MARKETS: POP-UPS

I Heart Indie Markets operates with two main ethics in mind: Community Over Competition and Makers Supporting Makers. To us, they aren't just hashtags. All of our events are all about community: cultivating community, loving the community we live in, and of course, building up the maker community.


THE EVENT:
Philadelphia Summer Makers Market
When: June 20th 10am-6pm, June 21 10am-4pm (Father's Day weekend!)
Where: 23rd Street Armory
What: A makers market with an emphasis on 120 handmade vendors and some vintage and fair trade vendors. We'll also be having food trucks, a beer garden, games for the whole family, crafting classes + more!


VENDOR INFO:
This event is curated. The goal is to have a diverse offering of products with a solid mix of established and new-to-the-scene vendors. It's also a goal to keep from over saturating any one category.

Vendor selection is based on originality and product selection. Booth presentation is also a consideration for established artists.

All of our events include vendors who produce handmade and/or hand crafted items. Vintage and fair trade vendors are considered and may also apply.

We do not accept MLM or direct sales vendors and ask that you do not apply.


APPLICATION INFO:
Applications are open on a rolling basis for the time being. However, do not hold off on applying as we will close the application once we are at capacity. As stated above, this is a CURATED event, so once a category is filled we will not consider applications in that category.

Makers will be notified if they are accepted or not, or added to our waitlist, within seven days of applying.


VENDOR FEE INFO:  
There is no fee to apply. Once accepted into the show you will receive an invoice to the email on your application. You will have two weeks to pay 50% of your booth and another two weeks (4 weeks from acceptance) to pay your booth in full.


BOOTH INFO:
The booth options for this event are as follows:

4' wide x 5' deep Booth (Both Days) - $175.00

8' wide x 5' deep Booth (Saturday Only) - $150.00
8' wide x 5' deep Booth (Sunday Only) - $125.00
8' wide x 5' deep booth (Both Days) - $250

10' wide x 10' deep booth (Saturday Only) - $200
10' wide x 10' deep booth (Sunday Only) - $175
10' wide x 10' deep booth (Both Days) - $320

If you are a food truck vendor you must still apply using this application but the space is free for this event.

Once you are accepted you will receive an invoice for your booth. You will have two weeks to pay 50% of your booth and another two weeks (4 weeks from acceptance) to pay your booth in full. Extensions may be requested and payments plans can be implemented.

Shared booths are allowed! If you are applying for a shared booth, both vendors must apply on the SAME application and both names MUST be on the signed portion at the end of the application.


CLASSES:
This event will include classes taking place in the same building but on the third floor (the event takes place on the ground floor). If you are interested in possibly teaching a class during this event you may learn more and do so on page 3 of this application.
