Collecting Names of Disabled Ancestors for NAMD Names & Frames
July 24-26, the NAMD Advocates are hosting a virtual celebration, Decolonizing Dreams: A BIPOC Celebration of ADA 30, to commemorate the work and lived experiences of disabled people of color. This celebration will highlight and acknowledge our experiences as disabled people of color, share narratives through different panel discussions, and pay homage to our disabled ancestors of color.

During the "Names and Frames" segment of the event, the NAMD Advocates will virtually display the names and narratives of our disabled BIPOC ancestors. Please use the form below to submit names and bios of disabled BIPOC ancestors that we should amplify.

For more questions, please contact Conchita Hernandez, hernandezlegorreta@gmail.com and/or Jasmine Maddox, jem15@albion.edu.

The National Alliance of Multicultural Disabled Advocates (NAMD Advocates) is an initiative of the Keri Gray Group that focuses on elevating the voices of people of color with disabilities.
