Aspire Performing Arts is proud to announce a pilot production of The Drowsy Chaperone JR.! Be part of this hilarious show BEFORE it is released to the public!

The Drowsy Chaperone JR. is a loving send-up of the Jazz Age musical, featuring one show-stopping song and dance number after another. A man shares with the audience his favorite record - the 1928 musical The Drowsy Chaperone. As he plays the record, the show comes to life in his apartment. Mix in two lovebirds on the eve of their wedding, a bumbling best man, a desperate theatre producer, a not-so-bright hostess,  gangsters posing as pastry chefs, a misguided Don Juan and a clueless chaperone, and you have the ingredients for a show that will have everyone laughing.

Auditions: Saturday, October 23 and Monday, October 25
Rehearsals begin October 28 and take place and take place on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons. See draft schedule on our website.

There is a registration fee of $350 to participate in this production (if cast). Payment plans and scholarships available, just ask! Please do not let the fee deter you from auditioning. We want to support all who want to participate! No refunds are given unless a production, class, or workshop is cancelled by Aspire PAC.
