Hermes Free Telehealth - Volunteer Translator Application Form
Thank you for your interest in working with Hermes Free Telehealth.

Hermes Free Telehealth is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is the first nationwide free telemedicine platform that connects volunteer physicians to patients beyond all geographical, fiscal, and logistical barriers. Through our platform, uninsured and underinsured patients can sign up for a completely no-cost, secure telehealth visit with a volunteer physician. We also offer a transitioning care program to help the patient navigate resources for prescriptions, in-person referrals, and follow-up visits, as well as a health education program for asynchronous care.

We are supported by expert faculty from Rice University, Emory University School of Medicine, and Baylor School of Medicine, as well as respected physicians, renowned attorneys, and leading entrepreneurs. We are also partnered with multiple federal Telehealth Resource Centers (TRCs).

Our team is currently composed of undergraduate students from Rice University, Stanford University, Columbia University, Brown University, University of Pennsylvania, and beyond. However, as our project progresses, we are always looking to recruit more passionate students. We are currently looking for volunteer translators who will allow us to reach a wider audience beyond all language barriers and promote health equity. A more detailed description of the position can be found in Section 2 of the application.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
