Get the inside scoop on staying safe, smart, and smiling while chatting, researching, socializing, or gaming online! Use this newfound savviness to talk with parents about your healthy relationship with technology!  FIHP and PTSA are hosting this special event about managing your friendships and relationships online, staying safe, and maintaining a healthy relationship with technology. Digital Media Wellness Educator Julia Storm has the guidance, tips, and strategies you’ll need to manage the ups and downs of the online world! Plus, FIVE lucky students will win a $10 Amazon gift card. You must be registered and in attendance when winners are announced.

Workshop covers:  

· Safety in environments with strangers: recognize and handling unsafe behavior, keep your personal info safe
· Digital Footprint: What is it, why it matters, what you can do to affect it (STOP and THINK before YOU POST!)
· Managing friendships and relationships online - group chats, bullying, etiquette
· Staying mentally and emotionally healthy  

Julia Storm is a Los Angeles-based Digital Media Wellness Educator, writer, speaker, and founder of ReConnect, a company with the mission of preparing kids for life in the Digital Age.  Julia has produced award-winning children's media content for Netflix, Amazon, iTunes and is a frequent guest on The KTLA Morning News. When she's not working, Julia spends most of her time keeping up with her two very active and beautiful sons.
