April 1st – June 30th Deadline to Register March 1st

Test will be ordered May 1st for June testing.

REMINDER: All requests received prior to May 1st will be signed up for June testing. Families will be notified mid-late May to make arrangements for June testing.

All CBE requests after April 30th will be administered in July. Families will be notified no later than mid-late June to arrange testing.

As a parent, I understand the following: (Please read and check ALL statements *

For ACCELERATION: A grade of 80% or higher must be earned to obtain credit and be accelerated. A student may not attempt (the CBE) more than two times to receive credit for a particular subject on the basis of an examination for credit in that subject. If a student fails to achieve the designated score on an applicable examination for a subject before the beginning of the school year in which the student would ordinarily be required to enroll in a course in that subject in accordance with the District’s prescribed course sequence, the student must satisfactorily complete the course to receive credit for the course.

Passing credit by exam scores will be entered on the student transcript. Once a student meets the passing criteria, the student may not reattempt for a higher grade

I understand granting credit does not imply the student has acquired all of the knowledge and skills that would have been derived from completing that grade level or course.

MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS: Middle School parents understand that potential scheduling conflicts may arise between the Middle School and High School for high school level courses, which may result in the inability to fit the course into their child’s regular Middle School schedule
