MAT2 is an apprenticeship program for students interested in pursuing an education in an in-demand field, while earning a paycheck. MAT2 provides students with an opportunity to earn an associate’s degree at a participating community college, while gaining real-world, hands-on training in the high-tech, in-demand fields of Mechatronics, IT, Technical Product Design, and CNC Machining. Participants of MAT2 have their tuition at a college paid for by an employer, receive a weekly stipend while in school, earn an hourly wage while training on the job, and are guaranteed employment upon successful completion of the program. More information can be found at

A representative of MAT2 will be coming to West Bloomfield High School on Tuesday, November 19th, 6th period in the auditorium.
