Community Partner Agreement
2023 Dates: July 12, 19, 26 | August 2,
Time: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM – Lunch on the Lawn
5:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Community Open Mic Night
Fees: There is no fee for our fellow non-profits.
Agreement deadline: Friday, June 2, 2023

- This completed and submitted agreement
Promo Material deadline (.jpg or .png for pictures): Monday, June 12, 2023
Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture Vendor Agreement for Lunch on the Lawn & Community Open Mic Night.
- You must be self-contained and provide your own display (tent, tables, chairs, inclement weather tie-down, etc.) The Emerson does NOT supply power.
- You may drive onto the Emerson lawn to load and unload ONLY. You must park cars on the street or in the Emerson parking lot during events (Please turn off your car when loading and unloading)
- Set-up must be completed by the start of the event (11:30 - Lunch on the Lawn | 5:00 PM - Community Open Mic Night
- Break Down may not begin until the end of the event (1:30 PM - Lunch on the Lawn | 8:00 PM - Community Open Mic Night)
- We highly recommend bringing a family friendly activity. Organizations that bring activities see much higher engagement from our community.
- All garbage must be removed from the premises by the Community Partner and not placed in the Emerson dumpster or community garbage cans.
- There is NO smoking on the Emerson lawn.
- There are NO dogs allowed on the Emerson lawn during events.
- In the case of a rain-out, events will be cancelled.
- Please notify the Emerson at least one week prior if you cannot make it to one of the events you have signed up for.
- Indemnification & Limitation of Liability: The Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture, its employees, directors, and representatives will not be responsible for any loss, injury, or damage, including that by fire and/or theft, which may occur to a Vendor or to his employees, agents, or their property, arising from any cause whatsoever prior to, during, and subsequent to the period of the Lunch on The Lawn and/or Community Open Mic Night events. By signing this Agreement, the Vendor and/or its representatives and agents release and hold harmless the Emerson Center, its employees, directors and/or representatives from any claim that is made against or by the Vendor as a result of participating in the Lunch on The Lawn and/or Community Open Mic Night events on the date(s) in this Agreement.

I have read and agree to abide by the Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture Agreement. I do expressly release the Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture from any and all liability for any damage, injury or loss to any person, business or property, which may arise from my participation in the Lunch on the Lawn & Community Open Mic Night. I grant permission to use my business name, video and/or photographic images of myself, my products, and my vendor space for purposes of Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture marketing and documentation which includes but is not limited to websites and/or publications.
