About: On Sat July 15th, Christopher Nolan is hosting an "Oppenheimer" screening in New York City, followed by a panel including Kai Bird and a number of scientists. On the same day in New Mexico, Trinity Downwinders will be holding a candlelight vigil with home-made luminarias to honor those who have passed away from cancer in their community. We will be holding our own vigil outside of the NY screening to stand in solidarity with Downwinders and other frontline community members, help raise awareness of the human side of this issue, and hopefully bring Nolan and others into conversation about this issue.

What: A respectful vigil with signs and luminaria.
We will provide each person with a luminaria.
Please wear black
Dress for the weather, including bringing things like water, a hat, sunscreen/sunshade, a raincoat or umbrella, etc.
