Július 20-án este különleges környezetben, az Örvényeshegyi Szabadtéri Színpadnál, az erdőszélen kialakított kertmoziban mutatjuk be ezt a filmet eredeti nyelven, magyar felirattal, a zala-völgyi Nyitott Porták éjszakája program keretében.  6x4 m-es vásznunk hátterét az erdő adja! :)  

A résztvevőknek lehetősége nyílik házi szörpjeink, gyümölcsleveink, a legjobb zalai borok, pálinkák kóstolása mellett megismerni ezt a filmet.

Tony Lip egyszerű ugyanakkor jó lelkű fickó, az a típus, akinek a problémamegoldó készsége kimerül az „előbb ütök és csak aztán kérdezek” módszerben. Egy kis mellékes reményében elvállalja, hogy egy afroamerikai zongorista, Don Shirley sofőrje lesz, aki Amerika déli államaiba indul turnézni, oda, ahol a helyiek nem látják szívesen azokat, akiknek más a bőrszíne. Don kifinomult stílusa szöges ellentéte az egykori kidobó ember nyers modorának, ám az út során rájönnek, hogy nem is annyira különbözőek.

OPEN AIR CINEMA AT ÖRVÉNYESHEGY
 
In 2019, "Green Book" received Best Film award at the Academy Awards. The film won 2 additional Oscar awards, 3 Golden Globe awards, including Golden Globe for Best Film in 2019.

On the 20th of July, in the special atmosphere of the Örvényeshegy Open-Air Stage, we present this film in its original language (English), with Hungarian subtitles, in the frame of Open "Porta" Night program in the Zala Valley. The background of our 6x4 screen is the vast forest! Participants will have the opportunity to watch this movie in our forest-side open-air cinema, with tasting of our homemade syrups, fruit juices, the best Zala wines and pálinka.

Tickets are available in advance for a limited amount of 400 HUF at discounted prices until 14 July 2019. From July 15 and on-site for  800 HUF.


GREEN BOOK

In 1962, Tony "Tony Lip" Vallelonga, a tough bouncer, is looking for work when his nightclub is closed for renovations. The most promising offer turns out to be the driver for the African-American classical pianist Don Shirley for a concert tour into the Deep South states. Although hardly enthused at working for a black man, Tony accepts the job and they begin their trek armed with The Negro Motorist Green Book, a travel guide for safe travel through America's racial segregation. Together, the snobbishly erudite pianist and the crudely practical bouncer can barely get along with their clashing attitudes to life and ideals. However, as the disparate pair witness and endure America's appalling injustices on the road, they find a newfound respect for each other's talents and start to face them together. In doing so, they would nurture a friendship and understanding that would change both their lives.
