Dante Purgatorio Reading Group (Spring 2024)
Interested in reading Dante's Purgatorio for the first time? Or perhaps in simply savoring it again with others? The St. Anselm Institute for Catholic Thought invites you to join our Dante Alighieri Divine Comedy Reading Group. As Dante had Virgil, Religious Studies Professor Emeritus Bill Wilson will be our trusted guide as we make our way through the 33 Cantos of the Purgatorio.
February 7 (Wed. 6:30-8:00pm) Introduction + Cantos I-II  (Room 5)
February 28 (Wed. 6:30-8:00pm) Cantos III-XII (Conference Room)
March 27 (Wed. 6:30-8:00pm): Cantos XIII-XXIII (Conference Room)
April 10 (Wed. 6:30-8:00pm): Cantos XXIV-XXXIII (Conference Room)
Where?: St. Thomas University Parish 
What else?: Everyone is invited, but please register by filling our the form below.  
Translation? We'll use the widely available Mandelbaum translation of The Divine Comedy: Inferno; Purgatorio; Paradiso (Everyman's Library). UVA students can request a free copy, guaranteed to be a lifelong friend in your personal library.
