The Okra Project is launching our monthly community gathering (held every third Friday from 6-8pmEST) for Black Trans people to meet with the Okra Project, learn about what we're doing, and ask questions! The intention of this space is to ensure that the community knows everything going on with The Okra Project and is able to access our services effectively and efficiently. We also hope Black Trans people will use these gatherings to let The Okra Project know what you might need. If we aren't able to support you here, hopefully we will be able to connect you to to other resources or someone in the space will know of another resource we don't!
