Volunteer Opportunities 

Thanks for your interest in volunteering at the Downtown Tacoma Block Party!  

We have many volunteer opportunities available before, during, and after the festival.

Volunteer groups for schools, organizations, and companies are welcome and highly encouraged to participate!

August 3rd | Morning event set-up (9am - 11am):

Bring the Downtown Tacoma Block Party to life by helping set up for the day by putting up decorations, setting out tables and chairs, putting up signs, etc.


August 3rd | Daytime Greeter (2-hour shifts throughout the day: 1-3pm, 3-5pm, 5-7pm):

Spread some happiness and help us greet visitors to the Downtown Tacoma Block Party!

Greeters will be positioned at the entrances of the event, say hello & welcome, and point people in the right direction toward food, vendors, music, and more.


August 3rd | Evening event tear-down (6pm - 8pm):

Help take decorations down, tidy-up any debris or litter left behind, break down tables and chair, etc.
