Welcome to the sign-up page to be part of the organisational and discussion team for the new InSPIRE Group (Integration of Social Science PhDs in Research
and Engagement). Our aim is to encourage collaboration and engagement among Social Science PGRs by structuring a full on-campus day on the first Thursday of every month during the academic year. It will incorporate a variety of sessions, social interaction and at times will include scheduled staff-run events.
Signing up to be part of the team does not require you to
attend every month. It is an acknowledgment that you would like to be
involved in the topic conversations, discussions about formats and share some
logistic involvement.
The structure, meeting frequency etc of this team will be discussed and decided collaboratively. Initial suggestions would be a potential monthly online meeting to discuss upcoming content and structure generally and for the following month, who are happy to attend and accept roles for that month and delegate responsibilities.
