 It is with great pleasure that we send you this letter! The Maiden Rosenwald Community Development Corporation is excited to continue the afterschool program this fall.  As we know, our community has a need for academic and enrichment opportunities for students.  Because of this need, the Maiden Rosenwald Community Development Corporation is committed to providing after-school tutoring, drop-out prevention assistance and summer programming for students in grades 2 through 12.  

Inspired Learning Programs will operate year-round, offering services to students and their families such as:  Certified teachers, academic achievement, STEM activities, college and career exploration, character and leadership development, conflict-resolution skills, and opportunities for family involvement.  We are committed to providing services that will encourage personal growth and inspire our students to achieve in LIFE!

Inspired Learning MIDDLE SCHOOL Program will operate Monday through Thursday from 2:45pm until 5:45pm during the school year.  The program will be held at the middle school for students in grades 6 through 8. Parents will be responsible for picking their child up in the evenings.  

Inspired Learning ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Program will take place at Maiden Chapel Baptist Church Faith Center and operate from 4:00pm -6:30pm.  The physical address is 5100 Fleetwood Drive in Hickory, located behind Lowes Foods on Hwy 127 toward Mountain View.  There will be a bus that will pick up the students from their elementary school and bring them to the Inspired Learning facility. Parents are responsible for picking up their child in the evenings.

It is our goal to provide a quality afterschool enrichment program that will benefit students and help inspire them to achieve in school and beyond.  We look forward to a shared partnership in helping inspire students for a lifetime.  

Students may participate in Inspired Learning Program at no cost. Please complete the attached registration packet and return it to your child’s school office or fax/mail/drop off at the Inspired Learning Elementary site in Mountain View. Once the application is completed and returned, Inspired Learning will contact you to attend orientation. We will have orientation both elementary and middle school students. Parents must attend orientation in order for your child to be accepted into the program.
