CHOIR OPPORTUNITIES AT
HENLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL
Love to sing?
If you enjoy singing, Henley Chorus is the place for you! Being in a choir is a great opportunity to make music, meet friends, and be part of a team.
At Henley, all singers start with 6th-Grade Chorus. There is no audition for this group. In class, students learn healthy singing habits, as well as music reading and listening skills. We sing music from all over the world and from many different styles.
Our 7th and 8th graders sing in a combined upper choir. Our 7th and 8th grade group performs more difficult music from all over the world and from many different styles. There are also more opportunities for solo and group numbers. You also have the opportunity to audition for City/County Honors Choir, District Honors Choir, and All-State Choir.
Every year, the choirs perform in a Winter Concert and a Spring Concert with the WAHS Choirs. These will be held in the WAHS Auditorium.
