Your Favorites
We've shared some of our favorite poems and stories with you. (If you haven't already, check out one of Anna's favorite poems "A Blessing" by James Wright and one of Chris's favorite poems "Funeral Blues" by W. H. Auden!)

Now we want to hear from you! Is there a favorite book, essay, or poem that occupies space in your mind?

Also, think about: we've covered many elements of craft over the past 8 weeks: form, symbolism, place, imagery, characterization. Other examples are plot, point of view, or literary techniques like metaphor and alliteration. These elements of craft are what makes a piece of writing GOOD: compelling, thought-provoking, and memorable. Are any of these elements behind your love for your favorite piece?
