The Rainbow Action Group is made up of both staff and students who are attempting to make TasTAFE a more inclusive and safe space for LGBTIQ+ people who study and or work on our campuses.  A place where LGBTIQ+ folk know that they belong.  We are not a formal part of TasTAFE, but we give of our own time to try and create equity, inclusion and belonging for LGBTIQ+ people.  Some of us are LGBTIQ+, and others are straight, cisgender allies. To help us achieve these goals of inclusion and belonging, we are really interested to know about what you have experienced and observed in the time that you have been studying or working here.  How inclusive is TasTAFE?  Are our campuses "safe" and "inviting" for LGBTIQ+ staff and students?   Do you feel like you belong? What can be done to be better?  

It doesn't matter if you are part of the LGBTIQ+ community or an ally... or if you are a staff member or student, you are all encouraged to participate (having written that though, if you are LGBTIQ+ we are particularly interested to hear your thoughts!). The "findings" of our survey will assist the Rainbow Action Group in what actions we should be making to achieve our goal of more inclusion and safety for all.      

This survey is anonymous so please feel free to be completely honest in your responses. If you can, we encourage you to provide as much detail as possible in the way that you answer the survey questions.
