The proctor is required to submit a signed attestation form to certification@informusa.org which is available
here.
Hosting Requirements You must secure the services of a proctor willing to assume the responsibilities of that position. The proctor must complete and sign a separate form that outlines their obligations. You must return that form with this application. There is some flexibility in who may serve as a proctor. However, the proctor must not have an interest in the outcome of any examination and should not be employed by the same organization as any examination participant.
You must have a suitable space to hold the exam. These requirements involve:
- A quiet room that has appropriate desk-space
- Secure and reliable Internet access
- You must supply an English-language dictionary for the use of candidates during the exam
- You may wish to have someone familiar with your IT setup available at the beginning of the exam to ensure that everything is working properly.
- There should be space behind the terminals for the proctor to observe the candidates
- The location in terms of both the building and the examination room should be as accessible as possible. Inform USA complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable legislation by offering candidates with documented disabilities the opportunity to request necessary aids and services that do not fundamentally alter the assessment process.
