We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a series of in-person workshops in beautiful Adelaide on 15-16 July 2021. These workshops are a joint endeavour of the Illicit Networks thematic group and the Cybercrime and Digital Criminology thematic group. Flinders University and the University of Adelaide will partner with ANZSOC in coordinating and hosting the workshops. These events represent an opportunity to meet with colleagues, hear about recent research and contribute to discussions on contemporary themes in these areas.
We are currently seeking abstracts for the Organised Crime and Networks Workshop. We invite abstracts for presentations of 15 minutes duration. Contributions are welcome from any area of organised crime and networks such as: organised criminal activities, organised criminal groups, money laundering, mafia groups, outlaw motorcycle gangs, intersections between organised crime and terrorism. This workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners with an interest in organised crime, including those who use networks and related approaches.
Note that this one-day workshop will be held alongside the ANZSOC Cybercrime and Digital Criminology workshop, which will be held at the University of Adelaide (North Terrace Campus - about a 10 minute walk from Flinders) on July 16. If interested in submitting an abstract to both workshops, please use this form, and also submit an abstract to the Cybercrime and Digital Criminology Workshop by clicking here:
