You are invited to participate as a subject in the research project "Sexual Automatic Thoughts and Sexual Desire amongst Malaysian Females: The Mediating Role of Sexual Anxiety". The aim of this project is to examine the mediating role of sexual anxiety in the relationship between sexual automatic thoughts and sexual desire amongst Malaysian Female.

Your involvement in this project will be filling in a demographic data form, sexual history form, and a series of online survey questionnaires regarding the research title. This only survey will take approximately 25 minutes to complete. You have the rights to withdraw from the project at any time, including withdrawal of any information provided.

In the performance of the tasks and application of the procedures there are risks of triggering emotions or feeling discomfort due to survey questions regarding sexuality and anxiety.

The results of the project may be published, but you may be assured of the complete confidentiality of data gathered in this investigation: the identity of participants will not be made public without their consent.

To ensure anonymity and confidentiality, all collected data will be analyzed collectively without targeting any participant individually. The result will be reported collectively without identifiable personal information. Data collected will not be accessible and shared to individuals other than the researcher or the supervisor of the researcher. All data will also be kept in a password-protected computer. Information such as e-mail account and IP addresses will not be collected to protect the anonymity of the participants.
