It takes more than a couple of hands to put together a festival like Latin American & Spain Film Fest (LASFF) and we need your help!
Would you like to be part of our volunteer festival team this year? Our
trustee team of volunteers are the glue that holds our event together;
we appreciate every hour spent to help our festival run smoothly.
The opportunity to be part of our team is open to anyone 16 years or
older and from any background. We are looking for people who are keen to
get stuck in a few simple tasks/jobs and also help our audience
enjoy the festival.
In exchange for a short period of help (2 to 3 hours) we provide
access to films, maybe some surprise treats along the way and guaranteed
fun during the festival. Usually a team dinner at the end of the fest
too!. Apologies we do not provide money, that's because this event runs only on public
funding and it is Free for the community.
We will requier from you...
- Set up and pack down, before and after the event
- Ticket scanning
- Welcoming the attendees
- Send a short report of the night to organizer (txt or email)
- TBC: One (or both) volunteer for after-film banter at a Cafe, Bar or Pub.(about 45min)

if you are an enthusiast and happy to talk to our guests about the
shows and what we have on offer.
Guidelines:
You must be available to work during the festival in Nelson
You must be at least 16 years old
You must commit to turn up at your allocated times
You will work in pairs during each screeening.
If you like Latin/Spanish culture, even better!
