EMERGING Career Development Practitioner of the Year Award
Emerging Career Development Practitioner of the Year is awarded to a practitioner who has less than 5 years experience in the career development field.

They are acknowledged for their unique role in the career sector in activities, initiatives, projects or publications that demonstrate exceptional early and ongoing achievement.

Their nomination gives evidence that they are innovative and have had a positive impact on his or her organization and/or the profession as a whole.

*ALL fields are mandatory. We accept ONE nomination per nominee, please. We do not accept self-nominations in this awards category.

Nominee’s Contributions and Impact (50 Points)-In 600 words or fewer, using the space provided, describe the nominee’s overall positive contributions, importance, innovation and impact. Describe and provide examples of how the nominee has:-Brought about benefits to clients, organization and/or community, Adopted client-centered and needs-based approaches in service provision Leveraged resources to address challenges and solve problems, Mobilized people and resources, Unified others to work toward common goals, Demonstrated ongoing, sustained accomplishments that go above and beyond expectation, Engaged partners in innovative programming, Taken efforts to develop and grow professionally.
Inspiration (30 points)- In 300 words or fewer, describe how the nominee is a role model to others. Consider and explain how the nominee has: Demonstrated leadership, Motivated others, Shared their expertise and knowledge, and with whom. Provide some examples of the of the nominee’s inspiring, motivating or collegial work.
