Virtual Artist Visit with Michaela Goade Registration Form
The Juneau Education Association in collaboration with the Juneau School District invites you to attend a Virtual Artist Visit with special guest, Michaela Goade.

Michaela is an artist and a children’s book illustrator who grew up in Juneau. An enrolled member of the Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska, Michaela’s Tlingit name is Sheit.een and she is of the Kiks.ádi Clan (Raven/Frog) from Sheet’ká. Recently, Michaela won the Caldecott Medal for her artwork in "We are the Water Protectors."

The virtual artist visit is open to all Juneau School District staff, students, and families. The event will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, March 3, from 1:00 - 1:45 pm.  

Please fill out the information below. You will receive an email reminder with the Zoom link prior to the event along with information regarding other Read Across Alaska events. Your name will also be entered into a drawing to receive one of Michaela's books. We'll announce winners at the end of the Zoom on Wednesday.
