Wild edible plants excursion

The Estonian University of Life Sciences' Research Centre of organic farming and Emajõe Garden is organizing an excursion in English as a part of the project "Growing with your own food". In this excursion you can learn about different wild edible plants. Jekaterina Balicka will tell you how to recognize different wild edible plants, when it is good to pick these plants and what you can do with them. 
Also, on the same day from 11:00 - 17:00 The wild garden café is open to everyone, there you can try several plants found on the excursion in the dishes. 
Group size for the excursion 15 people, pre-registration required. 
*If there is more interest, we will open another group, also it is possible to make a Russian-speaking group.

KOHAD ON TÄIS

Eesti Maaülikooli Mahekeskus ja Emajõe Aed korraldavad projekti “Kasvades oma toiduga” raames ingliskeelse ekskursiooni, kus saab tutvuda erinevate metsikute söödavate taimedega. Jekaterina Balicka käest saab kuulda  seda, kuidas erinevaid metsikuid söödavaid taimi ära tunda, millal on hea neid taimi korjata ning mida neist teha saab. Samuti on samal päeval kõigile avatud (11:00 - 17:00) metsik aiakohvik, kus saab proovida roogade sees mitmeid ekskursioonil kohatavaid taimi. Grupi suurus maksimaalselt 15 inimest, vajalik etteregistreerimine. *Suurema huvi korral avame teisegrupi, huvi korral on võimalik teha ka venekeelne grupp.
