Greensboro Downtown Parks has 4 opportunities for Holiday vending coming up in December!

- Festival of Lights, Downtown Greensboro's annual Tree Lighting, will be on Friday, 12/6 from 5pm to 9pm. This huge festival brings over 10,000 people out to celebrate every year. A vendor market hosted by GDPI will take place in LeBauer Park throughout the duration of this event kicking off the holidays in downtown GSO.  

- On Saturday, 12/7,  we keep the holiday spirit going after Festival of Lights with music, food, and of course, shopping with our first Holiday Shopping Spree vendor market from 10am to 5pm. Vendors are welcome to participate in both the Friday night Festival of Lights and the Saturday Holiday Shopping Spree, and may leave tents and tables overnight, as the parks will be outfitted with overnight security. However, we recommend vendors to take their wares with them to bring back the next morning.

- On Friday, 12/13, Santa is coming to town! From 4pm to 7pm, we will be offering free photos with Santa in front of the largest Christmas Tree in Greensboro, at our own Center City Park. This is a great opportunity for vendors to offer some holiday shopping, as park visitors wait for their turn with Santa.

- Park visitors can get some last-minute gift buying done at our Holiday Movie on Friday, 12/20. Families can get cozy on LeBauer's Great Lawn to watch the latest Grinch movie (2018, rated PG), shop, and enjoy the holiday season! The event will begin at 4:30pm, with vendors and a pre-show, and the film screening will start at 6:30pm.

No refunds will be given unless we cancel due to extreme weather. Vendors are responsible for supplying tents, tables, and displays. Vendors must also ensure that their tents are secured in case of wind; we do not allow staking, so vendors must bring weights to hold the tents in place. Vendors who sign up and pay for a spot with electricity must make sure to supply their own extension cords and power strips. Please note we do not allow space heaters - they take up to much power, trip our breakers for everyone else and on top of that, are dangerous.  Any vendor arriving later than 30 minutes before the event start time may not be permitted to set up, and again, will not be issued a refund.  

The park stays fairly well lit at night- we have flood lighting in LeBauer, but not in Center City, that will be turned on. We recommend that you bring additional battery powered lighting, as extra lights will not be provided by Greensboro Downtown Parks. The Holiday Movie on Friday, 12/20, is the only event in LeBauer that will not have additional flood lighting, due to visibility of the film screening.

The park is a non-profit and does not pay taxes on anything vendors sell, and this is therefore the responsibility of all vendors. Vendors are responsible for a clean booth area, free of debris. Vendors should furnish sufficient change for their sales transactions.  We cannot provide change to vendors.  Vendors must comply with all federal, state, and local health and fire regulations.  The Parks disclaim any authority of control over the operation of vendors. Vendors assume all rights and responsibilities for the conduct of their operations, including but not limited to: obtaining liability and general coverage insurance for vendor-related activities adhering to all local and state ordinances and regulations.
