This information will be compiled and distributed to state legislators who will decide how much to fund our schools, whether to give raises to teachers and retirees, and how to address teacher retention, and mental health and school safety challenges, among other concerns (or issues). They know there is a mismatch between how they think policy is going to work and how it is affecting our schools. This year there seems to be a desire to understand that gap.
We will need some basic facts to put your story in context for our policymakers, but you have the option to submit anonymously.
Your story may be the one that gets them to increase funding or reduce the workload of our teachers, so don't be shy and feel free to share this form with others. Our children need every voice.
