Meet and Eat is a place to get to know new people, learn about their cultures and share your own. Everybody is welcome!

Meet and Eat together with Koepel der Christelijke Studentenverenigingen (CSN, umbrella organization for Christian student associations in Nijmegen) will be hosting Titus Brandsma Night! As always with Meet and Eat, this will not be a religion centered event. During the night we will be answering the question 'what can you do for another?

When: Wednesday, 15 May 2024
Time: 18.00-22.00
Where: Student church, Erasmuslaan 9a
Price: 4 euros

This weeks' menu will be:
Appetizer: Domi’s Vegetable soup
Main: Tofu Poke bowl
Dessert: Lemon Meringue Muffins
All meals are vegetarian!

Important: We close the list of the people who registered on Monday evening. If you are invited, you will get a confirmation email as well. In the event more than 100 people have signed up, invitations are done through a lottery: we randomize the list, capped to 100 people. Though, the first 40 people are automatically invited! This invite list is the main list. The other registrations are put on a waiting list. In case someone cancels, first person on the waiting list will be contacted to take their spot.

If you can no longer attend, please let us know *before* Tuesday, 14 May, 12 pm. If your name is on the list, we count on your attendance.

Meet and Eat is een plek om nieuwe mensen te leren kennen, hun culturen te leren kennen en uw eigen cultuur te delen. Iedereen is welkom!

Meet and Eat organiseert samen met Koepel der Christelijke Studentenverenigingen (CSN) een Titus Brandsma Night! Zoals altijd bij Meet and Eat zal dit geen religieus evenement zijn. Tijdens deze avond beantwoorden wij de vraag 'wat kun je voor een ander doen?'.

Het menu zal zijn:
Voorgerecht: Domi's Groentesoep
Hoofdgerecht: Tofu Poké bowl

Alle maaltijden zijn vegetarisch!

Belangrijk: Maandagavond sluiten we de lijst af van de mensen die zich hebben aangemeld. Als u wordt uitgenodigd, ontvangt u ook een bevestigingsmail. Als er meer dan 100 aanmeldingen zijn, worden de aanmeldingen gerandomiseerd en de top 100 worden uitgenodigd. De eerste 40 mensen worden echter automatisch uitgenodigd! De uitgenodigde hebben dan de "main list" gehaald. De overige aanmeldingen worden op een wachtlijst gezet. Als iemand annuleert, wordt de eerste persoon op de wachtlijst uitgenodigd.

Indien u niet meer aanwezig kunt zijn, laat dit dan *voor* dinsdag, 14 mei, 12.00 uur weten. Als uw naam op de lijst staat, rekenen wij op uw aanwezigheid.

For any further dietary restrictions or for questions about specific ingredients used that you might be allergic to, feel free to contact us via Facebook, Instagram or email (meetandeatru@gmail.com). We can give you more detailed information about the ingredients that will be used. We will also inform the cook but please do take into account that, as much as we like and try to accommodate our menus to everyone's dietary restrictions and allergies, this is not always possible.

Neem a.u.b. contact met ons op als u vragen heeft over de ingrediënten. Hou wel rekening mee dat het soms niet lukt om een maaltijd zonder een bepaalde ingridient te maken, en dat je dus word verzocht om je plaats af te staan aan iemand anders.

By making the main list we expect you to show up, or cancel on time. If you do not cancel before 12pm on Tuesday, or if you fail to show up at the event without notice, you will receive a warning.

Repeated warnings inside a 3 event period may lead to you being asked to pay the contribution fee regardless of your presence, or even exemption from future events.
Bij het halen van de "main list" verwachten wij dat u komt opdagen of op tijd annuleert. Als u niet vóór dinsdag 12.00 uur afzegt of zonder voorafgaande kennisgeving niet op het evenement verschijnt, ontvangt u een waarschuwing.
Herhaalde waarschuwingen binnen een periode van drie evenementen kunnen ertoe leiden dat u wordt gevraagd de contributie te betalen, ongeacht uw aanwezigheid, of zelfs vrijstelling van toekomstige evenementen.

We will keep the data you enter in this form in an archive for one month in order to help prioritize people that don't make it to the list. A month after the event, your data will be deleted.

Your email address is only stored to allow us to send out invitations after the deadline for signing up passes. We do not share your data with any third parties.

At our events, photos may be taken. If you do not wish to be recognizable in any photos on our Facebook page, please tell one of our volunteers at the start of the event.
