We appreciate your commitment to helping our students succeed and look forward to working together to create a positive impact on their educational journey. Participation in the School Volunteer Program is based on specific requests or needs identified by school staff, teachers, or students themselves.

Having parents/guardians and volunteers involved in the education of our students is an important part of our Strategic Plan here at Sauk Rapids-Rice Schools this year.

NOTE: A BACKGROUND CHECK IS REQUIRED FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS
The safety and well-being of our students are of utmost importance. Volunteers are expected to maintain appropriate boundaries and adhere to school policies and guidelines at all times.

TO FURTHER ENSURE THE SAFETY OF OUR CHILDREN, WE REQUIRE A COMPREHENSIVE BACKGROUND CHECK FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS. 

As a volunteer, you are responsible for paying for the background checks, but they will be "valid" for three (3) years. At the end of this form, you will receive the link to complete and pay for your background check online. The fee is $14.00. Thank you.

Background Check Application *
Comprehensive background checks are required for all volunteers. As is the case in neighboring school districts, volunteers will be responsible for paying for the background checks, but they will be “valid” for three (3) years. We recognize the important role our volunteers play in the success of our children and understand the fee may be burdensome financially, but feel strongly that the safety of our children must continue to be our top priority. Your understanding and cooperation are much appreciated. The fee is $14.00.
