Local Beef, Pork, Chicken - Support a local farmer with a full, half or quarter animal purchase.
Our local farmers need our support more than ever! At the co-op we commit to purchasing to sell in smaller amounts (10-40 lbs), but this form is for those interested in stocking a freezer by placing a deposit to reserve a full, half or quarter ranging from $65- $125 and then paying the balance and receiving the entire portion directly from the farmer.
It's a super awesome program we have at the Food and Meat Co-op and we have helped a tremendous number of farmers, especially last year during the drought!
Calling all Utah and Idaho Families!!
The Food and Meat Co-op in Utah is trying to respond to a desperate cry by our local farmers.

https://foodandmeatcoop.com/blogs/news/why-you-need-the-new-food-and-meat-co-op-app-on-your-phoneI know the cost of everything is on the rise and right now, but this is a great an economical way to purchase meats, especially beef!
So we are going to start an interest form for those that may be interested in:
- Whole, half or quarter cows (Utah and Idaho) (approximately $4 -$5 lb hanging weight, includes butcher and slaughter fees already)
- Whole or half pigs (Utah and Idaho)
- Utah pasture chickens
We are also thinking about trying to find some bulk freezer deals for the group for a dedicated meat freezer! Thoughts?!?
We will highlight some providers of local proteins that we already work with as they committed to us before it became a crisis to continue to support regularly and they will take priority in us helping, but we would love to help as many as we can!
