Thank you for your interest in becoming a Student Ambassador for a healthcare professional in our second OSD Healthcare Career Fair Event on March 21!
There are TWO PARTS to this application—one for becoming a Student Ambassador(everyone is welcome to apply, there’s no limit on how many Student Ambassadors we will be selecting) and another for becoming a Lead Ambassador(only 5-6 of these positions are available).
Student Ambassador positions require you to have a sincere interest in a healthcare profession, professionalism in working directly with your medical professional contact and the time to commit to the timeline for this event which takes place in March 2020.
Overview of Timeline:
January- student ambassadors selected & informational meeting required attendance
February - contacting your medical professional, creating materials or handouts needed to showcase the medical profession
March - follow up with contact & assuring all required materials have been created
March Event - set up the evening prior, arrival EARLY on event day, participation throughout the entire event, tear down & closure required. (approx 10-20 hour volunteer commitment)
The "Lead Ambassador" is a BRAND NEW position that allows students to become more involved in the organizing process of this event. You can only qualify to apply for this position if you were a student ambassador in 2019.
The application and more details for becoming a Lead are BELOW the STUDENT AMBASSADOR application. We require you to complete BOTH applications.
We will only be selecting FIVE to SIX students to be Ambassador Coordinators.
