Wayfinding signs encourage folks to patron nearby small businesses, parks, and other places without having to utilize a car. This project involves securing the signs in a highly visible location on a designated street, near the sidewalk, positioned to correspond correctly with the sign’s directions.
Volunteers will work in teams, and be provided with some training on how to place the signs, a map, and some instructions to help us ensure signs are placed correctly. We are asking for two and half hours of your time and efforts: (10am - 12:30pm, Saturday May 7th).
We have two meeting spots available: Rose Park and Liberty Wells.
Volunteers will be provided light refreshments at our meeting place and other small gifts of appreciation.
