LELAN is the independent peak body in South Australia by, for and with people with lived experience of mental distress, social issues or injustice. The Matching Register is an initiative that forms part of our core business as a peak body for South Australia, and as such we will only be able to accept registrations from organisations or services that have opportunities within South Australia.
This form is for mental health, psychosocial, and social service organisations who have current or future opportunities for people with lived experience to get involved. This could look like opportunities to contribute to service (co)design and decision-making, sitting on advisory groups, training, evaluation, recruitment, governance sub-committee's, board positions and more.
LELAN is able to connect organisations with opportunities to people who are looking to combine their skills, knowledge and training with their lived experience to benefit the mental health and social services sectors. We are also able to offer resources and tailored support to prepare the organisation or service to partner with lived experience.
Please provide as much detail about the role or opportunity, the organisation, as well as the requirements, expectations, and supports offered to people with lived experience. This will allow us to identify the best person or group of people to connect you to.
If you have any questions or would like to contact us please email our Peer Project Support Worker Emrys via emrys@lelan.org.au . Alternatively an email can be sent to our general organisation account via info@lelan.org.au or contacted by call on 0431 953 526.
Disclaimer: LELAN does not screen potential candidates, matching and shortlisting occurs based on the responses of people with lived experience, their involvement in LEDGE training and your specified requirements. Final responsibility for ensuring candidates are suitable for the opportunity sits with the organisation or service.
