Loyola Law Externship Interest Form - Fall 2023
Before completing the application, students must review the externship program FAQ on the College of Law website and have a sincere interest in pursuing an externship.  Upon receipt of this application, Professor Finger will contact you and is available to answer any questions about the Externship Program.  Students must work with their Career Development advisor to prepare application materials for externship placements.

1 credit = 60 hours (approx. 4 hrs per week); 2 credits = 120 hours (approx. 8 hrs per week); 3 credits = 180 hours (approx. 12 - 13 hrs per week). Some placements require a minimum 2-credit-hour commitment.

Students may not simultaneously participate in Law Clinic or a Gillis Long internship and externship during the same semester. Please discuss any questions or concerns with Professor Finger.
If you have secured or are pursuing a position and you are seeking to convert it to a self-created externship, please list the organization and all contact information for your direct supervisor and any other point of contact at the placement organization.  If you don't yet have the attorney supervisor, please note that it is not yet available.
